I'm constantly in two minds all the time about having children or not.

Ok I'm not trying or anything but at the moment I am battling with a few things in my head about pregnancy and babies.

We have agreed to wait awhile and even when we do try we won't 'try' we'll just see if it happens. Do have a moment where you think 'yup ready now' or is is best to just let nature take it's course and let what will be, be?

I can't ever imagine it happening to me- I can't imagine falling pregnant ...

A week over due but he's here at last! He was born by c-section on May 9th at 09:09am and weighed 7lb 8oz. Having engaged 2 weeks before hand he decided the week he was due to dis-engage and rise up so when I had the section they had to push right under my breasts to get his head out as he had gone into hiding so high up, which explained why I'd been having problems breathing when I was lying down. I was let out of hospital on the Sunday and had my wire taken out this morning so now I am finally ...

Well in just over a week Tobey is 8 months and when I had him weighed today he was just 16lb 3oz! One of the other mums said 'oh he must be about 3 months?'!!!! I think he may be on the small side! lol. But hes stayed just above the 2nd centile since he was born so theres no problems.

Recognise plenty of names on here already so I dont feel too new!!

We have decided to ttc in about a year's time, still seems quite a long time away but gives us a chance to fit plenty in this year. Im a bit of a control freak so will be spending the next 12 months reading up on every aspect of ttc, pregnancy and birth (this bit scares the living daylights out of me)

Well I have been out running twice this week and twice on the cross trainer at home, plus the normal WW diet, and it paid off in the form of another 2lbs!! So next week I'm going to step the exercise up, the good thing about running is that as I get fitter I can do more and more.

I would like to talk about my experience of bullying - this has happened to me very very recently (October) and its taken me quite a long time to get myself back together.

I know the majority of you girls and I unfortunately have not been able to discuss this (only with 3 friends really) all will become clear later.

Well we just had the health visitor round and it went well, despite Seph banging his head and developing an instant bruise seconds before she got here!! He was weighed (21lbs) and is on the 91st line my little chubster!! Then she measured his length and he is just abover the 98th line!!! people always coment on how long he is, now that proves it! His 12month trousers are too short so I should have guessed!! His great grandad was 6'6 and his grandad is 6'2 (Paternal and Maternal) Anyway in the ...

a c-section on Friday. Am kind of disappointed as I'd really hoped for a normal delivery this time around but Steven has other ideas. Not to be outdone by his big brother, he has disengaged and so now I am booked in for Friday. Well I went for my dress fitting today, I didn't have my underwear (I haven't even bought it yet) But no one told me I needed it!! I mean maybe it is common sense, but I have never bought a wedding dress before and I didn't know... anyway I cried when she told me I had to re-book!!! How sad it that, it made her feel really bad!! LOL The thing is it wasn't really this womans fault, the shop I bought my dress from were terrible, they ignored my attempts and arranging a fitting so I just collected ...

Would seem that over the past few days I've been having a show. Phoned mw earlier and was told all sounds ok but to call labour ward if pains change and get worse. If Steven hasn't arrived by the 30th, I have an appointment for a sweep so despite things feeling like they are taking forever it finally feels like it won't be too much longer! At least, I hope it won't as I'm getting a tad fed up with the back pain and the mild period type pains. Never was good at being patient and keep wishing he'd ...

Hard and soft bumps?

I'm just curious really rather than worried, my bump has always been quite soft, although alot of other people have posted to say their bumps feel hard. Now over the last couple of days, mine has gone harder. As I say, it doesn't worry me, but does anyone know why they do this? Is it just that the skin growth/baby growth have caught up to each other (in whihc case, I'll double up on stretch mark cream effort! lol)?

Any other indications of labour? Slight sickness for couple of weeks leading up but that was all.

I picked it up at my ante natal appointment, as a list of things to bring into hospital, afew i found surprising though!

Tissues, nighties, dressing gown, slippers, bra (inc feeding), disposable/old pants, sanitary towels, toiletaries, hand and bath towel, change for the phone, careplan/birth plan, nappies, cotton wool balls, baby towel, baby gros.

Now, Handwipes (surely if you've got baby wipes, or sinks, then you don't need these too? ...

Heart Murmurs and pregnancy

Hi, I have a heart murmur, whihc i have been told may become a problem with my pregnancy, due to carrying the excess weight, and everything getting squashed up near the end.

I am currently in my 12th week, so at the momet I'm learning how to deal with it myself, it looks as if I will be put under shared care, rather than just midwife led, and proably referred to cardiology, but I'll keep this thread updated.

I'd love to hear if anyone is in a similar situation xx
